NEW YORK: Oxygen Media is bringing seven new series to the network's schedule as part of a rebranding planned for later this year targeting modern, young women.

Fix My Choir is a music-driven series that gives struggling choirs the chance to get some mentoring from the gospel superstar Deitrick Haddon and recording artist Michelle Williams. The competition series Nail'd It! delves into the trend of nail design. Street Art Throwdown (working title) features up-and-coming artists, while Sisterhood of Hip Hop shines a light on the next generation of female hip-hop artists.

The network also announced Funny Girls (working title), a docuseries about female comediennes living in L.A. My Crazy Love (working title) is a comedic anthology series about real people's stories of what they've done in the name of love. Living Different (working title) is an hour-long series about women who lead unconventional and alternative lifestyles.

"Oxygen’s new brand direction and programming filters are designed to connect with young, modern women. The chance to engage brands with this audience is a great opportunity for advertisers and they're really responding favorably to this change,” said Laura Molen, the executive VP of the lifestyle advertising group at NBCUniversal.
