Ovation Bolsters Team with Promotions & New Hire

As the arts channel gears up for key initiatives and expands its OTT service, Ovation has made a number of appointments, including Will Marks being elevated to senior VP of business development and digital.

Marks will lead Ovation’s OTT initiatives and strategy, while continuing to manage all new business development and partnership opportunities for the network. “We love bringing the cultural programming our customers crave across the devices and platforms of their choosing,” he said. “Ovation’s JOURNY continues to quickly grow and scale ahead of expectations, and we look forward to announcing new distribution partnerships soon.”

The channel is also upping Erica Henry to VP of acquisitions, scheduling and program planning, Edward Forman to senior director of ad sales, Frank Vittori to VP of post production and Jessica Yas Barker to senior director.

In addition, Ovation hired Crackle alum Maritza Berta as marketing manager, working in Los Angeles under David Widerøe, the senior VP of marketing.
