New Regency Signs First-Look Deal in Israel

LOS ANGELES/TEL AVIV: A first-look deal has been finalized between New Regency Productions and Israel’s ADD content agency.

New Regency will work to bring Israeli content from ADD to the U.S. ADD represents a number of Israel’s leading directors, actors and content developers. The outfit has developed more than 100 TV shows, ranging from dramas to comedies to reality series and documentaries.

“With the amazing success of such shows as Homeland and In Treatment, which were based on Israeli series, we are thrilled to be in business with ADD,” said Brad Weston, the president and CEO of New Regency. “We look at the deal with them as another great step forward as we make our return to the television business.”
 
“It’s always been a goal of ours to bring our content to U.S. audiences and New Regency is the ideal partner for us as we take this step. We could not be happier to join forces,” added Hadas Mozes-Lichtenstein, ADD’s international business development manager.
