ATLANTA: Two new multi-year licensing agreements have been firmed up by Bounce TV with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and Paramount Home Media Distribution, bringing to the network a range of movie titles, including the original Shaft and Eddie Murphy comedies.

The deal with Warner Bros. brings Bounce films such as Bird, directed by Clint Eastwood; Greased Lightning, starring Richard Pryor; Let’s Do It Again, featuring Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier; and 1997’s Rosewood. From Paramount comes Mahogany, featuring Diana Ross; Critical Condition, which also stars Pryor; the Eddie Murphy comedies Best Defense and Vampire in Brooklyn; and Denzel Washington starring in the 1990 comedy Heart Condition.

A selection of the newly licensed titles will air within the network’s Brown Sugar Saturday Night weekly prime-time franchise.
