New Hire at ITV Studios America

SHERMAN OAKS: Bryan Bowles is joining ITV Studios America as the executive VP of corporate development, coming from Sony Corporation of America, where he most recently served as VP of corporate development and mergers and acquisitions.

Bowles will be working with Paul Buccieri, the managing director of ITV Studios International, and will report to Tom Betts, the executive VP of corporate development at ITV. At Sony Corporation of America, Bowles was integrally involved in joint ventures such as Discovery and IMAX’s launch of 3net and Sony’s return to Times Square.

Buccieri, who is also the president and CEO ITV Studios America, said: “A major priority for ITV’s Transformation Plan is to expand our international production business in key countries including the U.S. We’ve been working hard over the last few years to establish ITV Studios America as one of the largest international producers for the U.S. market and it’s great to have Bryan joining us as we continue to invest in our creative and production capability and accelerate our global growth.”
