U.S. Network Upfronts

International buyers will be heading off to the Hollywood studios in the coming days to screen the new series picked up by the broadcast networks.

ABC’s new shows are The Neighbors, Nashville, Last Resort and 666 Park Avenue for the fall, and The Family Tools, How to Live with Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life), Malibu Country, Mistresses, Red Widow and Zero Hour for midseason. CBS, with a host of renewals, added just four series for the fall: the comedy Partners and the dramas Vegas, Elementary and Made in Jersey. For midseason, the network is prepping the comedy Friend Me and the crime procedural Golden Boy. Read Networked Insights’ predictions for what will work, and what won’t, here. FOX is adding just two comedies and one drama in the fall, picking up The Mob Doctor, Ben and Kate and The Mindy Project. NBC opted for three new dramas for the fall, Revolution, Chicago Fire and Do No Harm, plus four comedies, Go On, The New Normal, Animal Practice and Guys with Kids.
