NBCUniversal Hires for Newly Created Digital Enterprises Group

NEW YORK: Ben McLean has been appointed by NBCUniversal as senior VP of digital enterprises, joining the company from Xbox Entertainment Studios.

McLean will lead business affairs, content licensing, operations, as well as strategy and business development for the newly created digital enterprises organization. Most recently, McLean was senior VP of business affairs for Xbox Entertainment Studios, where he was part of the senior team that designed SVOD and AVOD original programming initiatives for the Xbox gaming console and other Microsoft platforms. McLean also previously was senior VP of legal affairs and business development for Pivot TV and was part of the senior counsel at Netflix, where he was responsible for structuring content licensing agreements for the company’s launch in Europe.
