NBC Summer Schedule Takes Shape

UNIVERSAL CITY: NBC has unveiled a handful of premiere dates for its summer lineup, which includes a new season of the hit talent competition America's Got Talent.

May 25 will see the return of American Ninja Warrior at 8 p.m. The action-packed program sees contestants compete in obstacle courses across the country. It is hosted by Matt Iseman and former NFL star Akbar Gbaja Biamila.

America's Got Talent will kick off its tenth season on May 26 at 8 p.m. NBC's top-rated summer series will once again be hosted by Nick Cannon, with Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel serving as judges.

The new period drama Aquarius is due to debut on May 28 at 9 p.m. The show, which stars David Duchovny (Californication), focuses on an LAPD detective who finds himself investigating serial killer Charles Manson.

On June 4 at 10 p.m., Hannibal is set to return for its third season. The cast of the psychological thriller is led by Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale) and Gillian Anderson (The X-Files).
