NBC Orders Pilot for Game of Silence

LOS ANGELES: NBC has given a pilot order for Game of Silence, based on the Turkish drama Suskunlar.

Intrigue will produce the pilot, along with Carol Mendelsohn Productions, Timur Savci and Sony TV. Global Agency’s Catherine Stryker and Intrigue’s Kelly Pancho negotiated the rights deal with Sony back in September. David Hudgins (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) wrote the pilot and will serve as showrunner. A writers' room will also be assembled to map out the first season, prior to ordering the pilot to production.

The U.S. adaptation of the Tims Productions Turkish hit will center on an attorney on the brink of success who could lose it all when his long-lost childhood friends threaten to expose a dark secret.
