NATPE Spotlight: New Films International

MIAMI: A fifth season of Undercover, a modern crime series set in the underbelly of Bulgaria, is on offer from New Films International at NATPE.

The series has been sold into 183 territories across its first four seasons, which is why Nesim Hason, the founder and president of New Films, believes season five will be particularly appealing to buyers.

The company also has two new features to present, including The Inquisition of Camilo Sanz, about a young immigrant in the U.S. who suddenly gets deported. Hason believes this movie will resonate with buyers at NATPE because its central topic of U.S. immigration has been a hot-button political talking point. Adding a dose of comedy, The Best Thanksgiving Ever is a holiday-themed movie that New Films is sharing with clients for the first time at NATPE.

“We are working hard to acquire and produce more movies and TV series and share them with our clients,” says Hason.
