National Geographic Studios Ups Erin Krozek

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Studios has promoted Erin Krozek to director of development from her role as a producer.

In her new position, Krozek will offer daily creative leadership and project management for the program development process for both scripted and non-scripted series produced by National Geographic Studios. Krozek will maintain relationships with agents, content commissioners, network executives and talent to facilitate the development of programs. She will be based in New York, where she will be the main liaison with the National Geographic Channel and external network clients on projects in development.

Krozek joined National Geographic Studios in 2013. She previously worked at BBC Worldwide, and before that she produced content and series for networks including A&E, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Spike TV and Animal Planet. Among her credits is Duck Dynasty.

“Erin is a strong creative executive who has a great sense for finding compelling stories and concepts,” said Jeff Hasler, the executive VP of production and development at National Geographic Studios. “She has made a significant impact on National Geographic Studios’ development efforts, and I’m looking forward to her bringing her impressive skill set to bear in this new leadership role.”
