LOS ANGELES: More than 1,000 hours from Liberation Entertainment's catalogue have been sold to Multicom Entertainment Group for global distribution.

The deal, which includes OTT, pay-per-view and Internet distribution markets, involves the children's shows Peter Gunn, Mr. Lucky and The Invisible Man, as well as the cult horror films House on Sorority Row and Grizzly. It also includes several biographical series, cultural documentaries and music specials, such as Gypsy Kings in Concert. Multicom plans to promote this programming at next month's MIPCOM.

Irv Holender, the principal of Multicom and former Liberation Entertainment executive, commented: "Studios and networks worldwide are coming to appreciate the tremendous entertainment value of these beloved classic series as underscored by the approach of industry luminaries like Steven Spielberg who remade War of the Worlds and is now producing an all-new Peter Gunn series for TNT. Audiences come back to the originals, and we are excited to represent this wealth of content for distribution to all media—both traditional and digital—worldwide."
