LOS ANGELES: Next year MTV2 is slated to debut a re-imagination of Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out, a sketch comedy and improv series.

The hit show, created, produced and hosted by TV personality Nick Cannon, involves two teams of new comedians and celebrity guests competing in "improv battles." It aired on MTV from 2005 to 2007, during which time it became one of the network’s highest-rated programs.

The new version of Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out, produced by NCredible Entertainment, will feature aspiring comedians as well as those who have already appeared on the show.

"I get asked every day when Wild ‘N Out will be back," said Cannon, the CEO of NCredible Entertainment. "I’m thrilled to announce that the show will be making its long awaited return very soon—bigger and better. With our show’s original cast, everyone from Kevin Hart to Katt Williams, Affion Crocckett and Taran Killam becoming household names, I am looking forward to working with MTV2 as we work to introduce the biggest comedic stars of tomorrow with the return of Wild ‘N Out."

"Building on our long-standing relationship with Nick Cannon, we are ecstatic to welcome his creative genius back to the MTV family," said Paul Ricci, the senior VP of programming and production for MTV2. "The re-mixed Wild ‘N Out will deliver a high-energy, clever and hilarious addition to MTV2’s original programming lineup."
