Miramax Names New VP of Television

SANTA MONICA: Miramax has hired Daniel Pipski for the newly created role of VP of television, working to drive series development and production as well as third-party TV projects.

Pipski reports to Zanne Devine, the executive VP of production and development at Miramax. Pipski is responsible for generating original series as well as series concepts derived from the Miramax library. Prior to his appointment at Miramax, Pipski was the head of Working Title Television, where he oversaw the development and production of the hit NBC comedy About a Boy. He also previously served as senior VP of production at Groundswell Productions, and was the senior VP of development at LivePlanet.
