BEVERLY HILLS: MTV has a new one-hour feature documentary that follows Miley Cyrus as she works on her new album, as well as several other newly announced projects.

Produced by the MTV News and Docs team, the doc will premiere this fall on MTV. It shines a light on the transformation that Cyrus has made over the last few years.

Additionally, MTV unveiled the pilot pickups of comedies Faking It (working title) and Happyland (working title). Faking It is about two friends who will do almost anything to fit in and be popular in high school, including pretending to be something they are not. Happyland is a soapy teen comedy about the employees of one of the country’s most popular theme parks.

The network also announced that its docu-series Generation Cryo is debuting in November, while Nurses (working title) is also set for a fall launch. Generation Cryo is a one-hour docu-drama about the issues faced by a new generation of kids who were conceived via anonymous sperm donors. Nurses is a new docu-series about a group of travel nurses assigned to work at an Orange County hospital.

MTV has renewed Snooki & JWOWW and Awkward. The new seasons will air on MTV channels around the world in 2014.
