MGM Television Reveals MIPCOM Highlights

LOS ANGELES: MGM Television is slated to present a number of titles next month at MIPCOM, including films such as Skyfall and TV series such as Vikings.

Skyfall, starring Daniel Craig as secret agent 007, is the latest installment of the James Bond franchise. Other films in the MGM Television catalogue include The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, starring Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood and Martin Freeman; Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, a fantasy-thriller based on the German fairy tale; Robocop, about a robotic police officer; Carrie, a remake of the hit horror movie; 21 Jump Street, featuring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum; The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, based on the book by Stieg Larsson; and Zookeeper, starring Kevin James.

The company will also be showcasing the premiere of Vikings, a 9×1-hour drama series focusing on Norsemen during medieval times; and the new season of Teen Wolf, a 24×1-hour drama about a teenager who is part werewolf.
