LOS ANGELES: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM) has hired Max Kisbye to serve as its VP of television production.

Kisbye will report to Steve Stark, the president of television production at MGM. He joins the company from Creative Artists Agency, where he was a television literary agent. He also worked in Paradigm’s literary department.

“I’ve known Max for years and he possesses that rare combination of humility and tenacity that will serve our mutual goals well,” said Stark. “The great relationships he has in the industry will be tremendously helpful in our expansion of our business with the many innovative and quality projects we will and already have in production and development at MGM Television.”
