Mark Burnett Productions Alums in New Venture

BEVERLY HILLS: C. Scot Cru and Patrice Choghi, formerly with Mark Burnett Productions, have aligned with producer Robert Bauer for a new venture focused on providing production, distribution and financing opportunities for independent producers worldwide.

Stamper Lumber Media Group (SLMG), based in Los Angeles, has a number of projects in production already. It aims to work with producers worldwide to deliver original IP for the global market, and will provide consulting services on the acquisition and production sides of the business.

“Patrice and I have a long history of working with some of the most innovative producers and broadcasters around the world and Bobby and I have been friends, colleagues and workmates for many years,” Cru said. “We’re excited to bring out the sum of our combined experience to our partners who, due to the mass consolidation in the industry, have been left without a comfortable seat at the table.”
