LOS ANGELES: Sony Pictures Television (SPT) is set to screen Battle Creek, a crime drama from Vince Gilligan, Bryan Singer and David Shore that was picked up by CBS for midseason, along with Marry Me, which is scheduled for Tuesday nights on NBC.

Battle Creek stars Dean Winters as a successful and confrontational detective who is paired with a big-city FBI agent, played by Josh Duhamel. Marry Me is about an engaged couple on their way to the altar and everything is going wrong along the way.

There are a number of cable series that SPT will be screening as well. There's the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul (AMC); Outlander (Starz), about a woman who is transported in time to war-torn Scotland in 1743; and Your Family or Mine (TBS), a sitcom centered on a married couple and their colorful in-laws. SPT is also presenting shows that are set to run on OTT platforms, including Amazon's The After, about eight strangers trying to survive in a violent world that defies explanation, and Transparent, a comedy featuring Jeffrey Tambor. Netflix is on board the Untitled KZK Project, which is executive produced by the team behind Damages.
