L.A. Screenings: New from Sony Pictures Television

NEW YORK: Sony Pictures Television (SPT) will be screening a slew of new shows for buyers, including the NBC comedy The Michael J. Fox Show.

Marking Fox’s return to the small screen, The Michael J. Fox Show will be featured Thursday nights on NBC starting this fall. The studio also placed Welcome to the Family on NBC’s Thursday grid. NBC also went for The Blacklast, a drama featuring James Spader, and gave The Night Shift a midseason slot.

FOX picked up SPT’s Us & Them, a comedy about a pair of young lovers, and Rake, a character-driven drama, for midseason.

SPT also placed a show with ABC, The Goldbergs, a comedy set in the ’80s.
