Hulu Names New Head of Content

LOS ANGELES: Craig Erwich, formerly at Warner Horizon Television, is joining Hulu as senior VP and head of content as of April 7.

Erwich was overseeing development, production and business operations for the last seven years at Warner Horizon. Before that, he was at FOX Broadcasting Company for 12 years. Erwich has been involved in creating a number of hit shows, including Pretty Little Liars, Prison Break, House and 24.

"Craig is the perfect guy for the job—he has been developing shows and programming networks for over 20 years," said Mike Hopkins, CEO of Hulu. "He has impressed me and others who’ve met him with his collaborative approach, humility and tenacity to do what he believes. And not only is he excited about the work itself, but I know that he is especially looking forward to meeting all of you… oh, and ditching an office for Hulu’s open work spaces."
