Gary Levine & Jana Winograde Upped at Showtime

Gary Levine and Jana Winograde have been promoted to the roles of co-presidents of entertainment for Showtime Networks.

Levine and Winograde will be responsible for developing and supervising all aspects of Showtime Networks’ programming. They will oversee the company’s production, program operations, business affairs, casting, scheduling, research and home entertainment, and serve as liaisons to CBS Corporation’s international and domestic distribution groups.

Levine joined the network as head of original programming in 2001. Winograde joined Showtime in 2017 as president of business operations for the West Coast. In her new role, Winograde will also now serve on the board of Smithsonian Networks. Both execs report to David Nevins, chief creative officer of CBS Corporation and chairman and CEO of Showtime Networks.

Additionally, Amy Israel has been promoted to executive VP of scripted programming and Vinnie Malhotra to executive VP of nonfiction programming. Both will report to Levine and Winograde.
