BURBANK: U.S. network BUZZR, which broadcasts titles from FremantleMedia North America’s (FMNA) game show portfolio, is celebrating its one-year anniversary this month with a slate of retro programming.

The channel, which according to FMNA is available in 65 percent of U.S. households, will reintroduce viewers to iconic brands To Tell the Truth, Match Game and Celebrity Family Feud. All three of these shows will have new iterations produced by FMNA premiering this summer on ABC. Other game show titles airing this month include I’ve Got a Secret, Press Your Luck and Super Password.

The network is available in 67 markets, with recent launches including Denver, Sacramento, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Buffalo and Raleigh. Debmar-Mercury distributes BUZZR, which is carried by cable operators such as Time Warner, Comcast/Xfinity, Verizon, Cablevision, Cox and Charter.

“We’re thrilled with the growth during our first year, and would like to thank all of our broadcast partners,” said Ron Garfield, the executive VP and general manager of BUZZR. “Our growing and loyal viewing audience continues to demonstrate that game shows are one of America’s favorite past times and BUZZR is quickly becoming the go-to destination for enjoying the greatest retro game show content.”
