FOX Slates New Half-Hour Animated Comedy

NEW YORK: The animated comedy Golan the Insatiable, which started as 25-minute installments on FOX's Animation Domination High-Def lineup, has been picked up by the network as a half-hour series.

The series premieres on May 31 at 9:30 p.m. as part of FOX's Sunday night lineup. The show is inspired by the quarter-hour installments that aired on the Animation Domination High-Def's late-night Sunday block. The pickup of Golan, which will feature an all-new voice cast, marks the first time that an Animation Domination High-Def series has received a prime-time order. The new voice cast includes Rob Riggle (22 Jump Street) and Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation).
