LOS ANGELES: FOX has ordered a full season of the new comedy series The Grinder, starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage.

The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and created and written by Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul (The D Train, Allen Gregory). Thus far, it has delivered year over year gains for the network’s average in its time period, with an increase of 70 percent among adults in the 18-to-49 demographic. An all-new episode is set to air on November 3 at 8:30 p.m., and all episodes of the show are available on FOX NOW, Hulu and Fox On Demand.

The Grinder is the perfect combination of razor-sharp wit and relatable family dynamics, two hallmarks of successful comedies,” said David Madden, the president of entertainment at Fox Broadcasting Company. “The critics have embraced this original, fresh and funny show, and the talented cast—led by Rob Lowe and Fred Savage—has done such an incredible job infusing it with biting humor and heartfelt moments. We are so excited about the story lines that these fantastic producers have planned for the rest of the season.”
