Fargo Producer John Cameron Inks Overall Deal with FX Productions

LOS ANGELES: FX Productions (FXP) has signed an overall production deal with John Cameron, the producer of the network's hit original series Fargo.

FXP and Cameron inked a two-year pact, covering all projects developed for TV. Additionally, Cameron is teaming up with Noah Hawley, the executive producer and showrunner of Fargo, to become a partner in Hawley's production company, 26 Keys.

"John Cameron was instrumental in the success of Fargo and we look forward to continuing our relationship with him on new projects through FXP and also on the next installment of Fargo," said Nick Grad, the president of original programming at FX Networks and FX Productions.

"FXP is an organization fervently committed to creating exceptional television, and I am thrilled to move forward into the future with them," said Cameron. "Noah, of course, is a singular storyteller and astonishing talent. I am honored to partner with him to continue to produce inspired entertainment for the screen."

"John has the perfect sensibility for the show and for my taste in general," added Hawley. "In launching a company, it's not enough to just find great projects. You've got to get them made and made right. John's experience in both physical production and material development make him an ideal partner."
