NORTH HOLLYWOOD: Media software company Computer Applications Development (CAD) is set to rebrand as MediaLogiq Systems, a move that will include a new logo, tagline and website.

The company has operated for 25 years as CAD. Its new name and digital look is designed to highlight the cloud-application vendor’s fresh corporate identity and its role as a top SaaS provider to the entertainment industry. Its portfolio of web-based apps includes analytics platform ITVR and rights-management software MediaRights. Its new website is under development and is scheduled to go live ahead of MIPCOM.

The company said via statement: “With over a quarter-century history of developing, implementing and supporting systems for a single industry, we feel that we now have a unique opportunity to adopt a strong name that more clearly communicates who we are and what we offer. Our decision to change our corporate identity reflects our renewed commitment to providing targeted solutions for the entertainment industry while fortifying our position in the marketplace. Above all, the name MediaLogiq Systems more precisely conveys who we are: a world-class, technologically advanced software company with logical, powerful applications for rights management and audience analytics.”

The statement continued: “While our name and logo have changed, the ownership and management of the company remain the same, as does our long heritage of providing robust and intuitive software to the media industry’s most successful organizations.”
