Eurocinema in Amazon Prime Pact

LOS ANGELES: Amazon Prime has added hundreds of award-winning foreign films to its U.S. lineup following a deal with Eurocinema World.

The titles will be featured on the Eurocinema “Carte Blanche” banner on Prime. Sebastien Perioche, president and CEO of the channel and VOD service, commented, “Eurocinema has been very successful in creating a branded destination on cable and telco systems. We believe we can extend our brand to the Amazon Prime platform, giving subscribers access to unique niche content, easily accessible anytime and on their preferred devices.”

The lineup at launch includes Hotell starring Alicia Vikander, Burnout with Marion Cotillard and Palme d’Or nominee An Unforgettable Summer.
