eOne Television Bolsters Scripted Team

LOS ANGELES: Gerard Bocaccio has been hired by Entertainment One (eOne) Television as its new senior VP of U.S. scripted development.

Bocaccio, based in Los Angeles, will report to Michael Rosenberg, the company's executive VP of U.S. scripted television. Bocaccio is responsible for further cultivating and developing eOne's slate of scripted programming from the U.S. marketplace. He has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of television development and production. Most recently, Bocaccio consulted for Blumhouse Productions and the Discovery Channel to help boost their scripted TV efforts. He played a key role in launching Discovery's first scripted series, Klondike, which eOne Television co-produced.

Rosenberg commented: “Gerard is a seasoned executive with a breadth of experience that spans all aspects of the development and production process necessary to create groundbreaking television.
