Endemol Shine North America has named former Critical Content executive Brad Carr as the company’s new senior VP of production.

In his new role, Carr is expected to lead all day-to-day production for MasterChef, MasterChef Junior and the forthcoming ABC series Family Food Fight in addition to other Endemol Shine projects in development. He will report to Rob Day, the executive VP of production.

Carr joins Endemol Shine from another senior VP of production position at Critical Content (formerly Relativity Television). He has also served as a producer on a number of Endemol Shine programs, including Deal or No Deal and Fear Factor.

“Brad brings with him a tremendous amount of experience, and he’s someone I’ve worked with many times in my career and have a lot of trust in,” said Day. “He’s already stepped right in and is helping us keep our many shows on track.”

Carr added: “I’m thrilled to be back working with the talented team at Endemol Shine. The slate of high-quality programs are not only great to watch, but exciting to produce as well.”
