LOS ANGELES: Endemol Shine North America and Just Entertainment have partnered with Hologram USA to develop TV programming featuring holographic projections of international performers.

Through the deal, Just Entertainment and Endemol Shine North America have exclusive rights to develop select TV programming using Hologram USA’s patented technology and life rights to celebrities such as Whitney Houston, Buddy Holly, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Bing Crosby, Andy Kaufman, Redd Foxx and more. Live performances of the hologram shows and digital distribution of shows created under the deal will be presented on FilmOn TV Networks’ FilmOn.com.

“Today more than ever, TV needs big live events and what’s bigger than the greatest acts of all time coming back to life to perform live—or better yet, performing for the first time with some of today’s most successful artists?” said Justin Hochberg, Just Entertainment Studios’ CEO. “Only Alki David and Hologram USA could have thought of this and we couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with them.”

“Hologram USA has proven to be the world’s leader in this space and we’re truly excited by the myriad options that both their technology and celebrity relationships offer us in developing unprecedented TV programming with the team at Just Entertainment,” said Endemol Shine North America's COO Ben Samek.

“We have the biggest and most exciting technology changing the entertainment industry, so naturally we went with the biggest and most exciting creators of television, Endemol Shine North America and Just Entertainment, as our partners,” said Hologram USA's CEO Alki David, who will also executive produce all programming. “The stories we’re telling with this new medium are incredible, and the TV programming we’ll create together will add unbelievable reach to new audiences.”
