CBS All Access Hits Amazon’s Fire TV

NEW YORK: CBS Television Network’s digital SVOD service CBS All Access has launched on the new Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote.

Amazon Fire TV users can now watch more than 7,500 episodes from current and previous seasons of popular series and classic shows on demand. They will also have the ability to stream their local CBS Television station live in more than 110 markets across the U.S., including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Philadelphia.

Besides access to ad-free episodes of current dramas such as Elementary and The Good Wife, subscribers will also be able to watch the service’s first original series, a new chapter of the Star Trek TV franchise due out in January 2017.
