ENGLEWOOD/BURBANK: DISH Network has reached a deal that will allow its customers to access the portfolio of WATCH-branded authenticated apps from The Walt Disney Company that deliver live and on-demand access to a range of content on connected devices.

The new pact comes following the signing of a multiyear distribution deal between the two companies. It makes available to DISH’s 14 million video subs the authenticated WATCH ABC, WATCH ABC Family, WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney XD and WatchESPN apps. Access to WATCH Disney Junior, as well as authenticated services from SEC ESPN Network and Longhorn Network, will launch later this year.

The apps provide live streams of ABC Family, Disney Channel and Disney XD, as well as ABC in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, Fresno, Philadelphia and Raleigh-Durham. WatchESPN delivers live events and programming from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, ESPNEWS and ESPN Deportes. ABC and ABC Family originals will be accessible on-demand the day after the linear broadcast through the WATCH apps and online at ABC.com and ABCFamily.com.
