Dawson’s Creek & Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Air on ABC Family

BURBANK: Classic teen dramas Dawson’s Creek and Buffy the Vampire Slayer are slated to join ABC Family’s weekday lineup this summer.

Both series are scheduled to premiere June 22 as part of a Fan Favorite Week, in which viewers will choose ten favorite episodes to air. The shows will then debut from the beginning starting June 29.

Dawson’s Creek premiered in 1998 and ran for six seasons, following a tight-knit group of friends in a small Massachusetts town through high school, college and beyond. The comedy-action drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer debuted in 1997, chronicling the adventures of a 16-year-old girl gifted with the strength and skill to hunt vampires.
