Comedy Central Slates Midseason Programming

NEW YORK: A host of new series and specials, including the sketch comedy Key & Peele, as well as returning favorites such as The Colbert Report, Tosh.0 and South Park, are on the grid for Comedy Central’s midseason lineup.

In January, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report are returning with new seasons, and the viral video comedy series Tosh.0 returns with a fourth season. Season 16 of the animated series South Park will air in March.

New additions to the Comedy Central lineup include the sketch comedy Key & Peele, starring Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, which will debut at the end of January. The stand-up series Russell Simmons Presents The Ruckus is also premiering in January and features a reunion with comic JB Smoove, among others. Stand-Up Month, which begins January 2 and runs through the end of the month, will offer stand-up from featured comedians, including Tom Papa, Kevin Hart and John Mulaney.
