NEW YORK: CC:Studios, Comedy Central’s in-house multiplatform unit, has announced the debut of the travelogue Roustabout with Kurt Braunohler, along with the renewal of two digital series and five shows in development.

Roustabout with Kurt Braunohler follows the titular comedian as he sets out on a seven-city jet-ski tour to raise money to send 500 goats and 1,000 chickens to Africa. Additionally, the studio’s slate includes the second seasons of Six Guys One Car, from YouTube stars Dormtainment, and New Timers, about two low-key friends who remain unchanged by a post-apocalyptic Brooklyn.

New projects from CC:Studios include titles featuring Matt Braunger as one of the few remaining white people in the U.S., Sean O’Connor as an awkward blogger, and Rich Fulcher as the host of a show that takes absurd hypotheticals very seriously. The studio also has two series transitioning to linear this year, This Is Not Happening and Idiotsitter.

“I am sincerely proud of how our team has established CC:Studios as an appealing destination for established and emerging comedy content creators,” said Kent Alterman, the president of content development and original programming for Comedy Central.
