Veteran Producer Michael B. Seligman Launches Events Consultancy Outfit

LOS ANGELES: Academy Awards producer and industry veteran Michael B. Seligman has opened his own event services consultancy, clinching Chrysler as his first client.

The new division, launched under the producer’s Seligman Entertainment banner, will help produce Chrysler’s dealers’ conference in Las Vegas this September. The consultation unit will additionally work to raise the international visibility of consumer brands, corporations and nonprofit organizations.

Seligman, who has more than 300 TV producing credits spanning award shows, live variety specials, weekly series, dramatic specials, news reports and features spanning a 40-year career, will lead the new division while also continuing to oversee the company’s high-profile TV projects. He’ll spearhead the unit’s work in the development and execution of events of all types, including experiential marketing, product launches, VIP functions, benefits and luxury galas.
