Colin Moore Gets Elevated at IFC

NEW YORK: Colin Moore has been appointed as IFC’s new VP of digital media and alternative content, effective immediately.

In his new position, Moore will manage strategy and operations for IFC.com, mobile applications and partner websites offering IFC content. He will also oversee original content creation for the IFC website as well as the development and implementation of the social media strategy. Based in New York, he will work under Blake Callaway, the network’s senior VP of marketing.

Moore previously served as the director of digital media for IFC, where he contributed to the redesigning of IFC.com. He also helped launch the network’s first second-screen experience and the Kumail Nanjiani Tours Portlandia web series, among other accomplishments. In the past Moore was the director of programming for Lifeskool/Sportskool.

Callaway commented: "Colin’s success comes from truly understanding the IFC brand no matter what platform. He has been integral to creating an ‘always on’ experience for our ‘slightly off’ programming. We are excited to reward his efforts with this promotion."
