Chris Albrecht to Continue as Starz CEO Through 2020

BEVERLY HILLS: Chris Albrecht has been signed to a new employment agreement that sees him remain as the CEO of Starz through 2020.

Additionally, the role of president will be added to Albrecht’s title and responsibilities. The new contract is effective July 1.

Greg Maffei, the chairman of Starz, said, “Chris has developed Starz into a leading, innovative entertainment brand with award-winning original programming that resonates with U.S. and international audiences. He has made remarkable contributions to the business over the past six years, and we look forward to his vision creating even more value for distributors, partners and shareholders.”
