Catalina Content, a Sky Studios company, has expanded its West Coast headquarters in Los Angeles with the appointments of Brent Jacoby, Peter Huntley and Ryan Doody.

Jacoby will serve as Catalina’s senior VP of development, developing across all unscripted genres with a major focus on talent-driven programming and formats. He previously held roles as VP of development for 44 Blue Productions, VP and head of development for ITV America’s Outpost Entertainment and VP of development for Pilgrim Studios.

As VP of casting, Huntley will oversee all casting for the company with a focus on talent-based directives. Most recently, Huntley developed and cast House of Ho for Lionsgate/HBO Max and Mexican Dynasties for Shed Media/Bravo.

Doody, tapped to be Catalina’s new manager of development, will serve to coordinate all development efforts. His credits include Metal Fear, What They Got Right (DreamworksTV), Bake-a-Wish and #adulting with Emma Chamberlain (Snapchat).

Jacoby, Huntley and Doody will all report directly to Jeff Collins, president of Catalina Content.

Collins said: “For over a decade, Brent has had a successful track record of developing and selling bold content across all genres and platforms. He is a big get and an incredible anchor for us as we continue to lay the groundwork of our West Coast operations.”

He added: Ryan has a natural talent when it comes to crafting original formats and Peter’s high caliber for casting hit series is a key part of our strategy as we prioritize talent—finding unique characters that stand out and creating loud, authentic programming around them.”
