Caroline Christopher Moves Up at Storyville Entertainment

NEW YORK: Storyville Entertainment has elevated Caroline Christopher from VP to senior VP of development and production.

In her expanded post, Christopher will continue to work under Betsy Schechter, the company's president. She will be responsible for overseeing Storyville's development and production teams and a slate that includes projects with H2, truTV and Oxygen, among other networks.

Before being hired by Storyville, Christopher was the director of development for National Geographic Television, where she developed docuseries and specials for National Geographic Channel. She is credited with having developed and produced more than 200 hours of content for a number of companies throughout her career.

"Caroline is unique in that she has both incredible development instincts and vast production expertise," said Schechter. "In less than a year, we've sold nearly ten projects and I'm grateful to my team and their endless effort to bring innovative ideas and a unique voice to the marketplace."

Storyville is currently producing a scripted series with Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity). Earlier this year, the company entered into a first-look partnership with JB Smoove's Converge Media Group.
