Bravo Elevates Exec in Current Productions Role

NEW YORK: Rachel Smith has been promoted at Bravo Media to senior VP of current production.

Smith reports to Shari Levine, the executive VP of current production at Bravo. Based in New York, Smith joined Bravo in 2013 as VP of current production and currently oversees several hit series for the network, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Don’t Be Tardy…, Newlyweds: The First Year and Manzo’d With Children. Currently, she is heading up the two newly announced additions to the Housewives franchise: The Real Housewives of Potomac and The Real Housewives of Dallas, as well as the luxury travel docuseries Tour Group.

“Rachel’s innovative approach to storytelling and ability to create groundbreaking, high-quality programming has made her an invaluable asset to the production team,” said Levine. “She continues to be instrumental in producing brand defining content that helps Bravo rank as a top ten cable entertainment network.”
