LOS ANGELES: BET Networks and Telepictures are partnering on a new daily talk show, The Keke Palmer Project (working title), which is slated for a July launch on the channel.

The daytime series will be hosted by singer/actress/activist Keke Palmer, who will be covering a variety of topics, including social issues, pop culture, fashion, sex and more. The show heads into production in Los Angeles this summer. BET has given it a Monday through Friday slot for an initial four-week run. Judge Greg Mathis will serve as an executive producer on the series, and was instrumental in establishing the relationship between Palmer and Telepictures.

The Keke Palmer Project joins The Wendy Williams Show and the recently acquired The Queen Latifah Show on BET's schedule. The network also recently announced the acquisition of the syndicated talk show The Real, also from Telepictures, for a fall 2014 launch.
