Adobe: TV Everywhere Usage Continues to Climb

According to Adobe Digital Index's latest Digital Video Benchmark report, the number of TV Everywhere users increased 22 percent in Q4 2015, particularly due to special programming such as the fall TV premieres and sports-related content. Authenticated video viewing continued to steadily grow throughout 2015, with most months showing increases in video viewing over the previous month.

U.S. TV Ad Spend Starts 2016 on a High Note

The U.S. television sector saw a 1 percent increase in ad spending in January, according to Standard Media Index’s (SMI) latest data, with broadcast networks showing a 9 percent gain. informitv: Top U.S. Pay-TV Services Lost 781,000 Subs in 2015

The six leading pay-TV services in the U.S. gained 125,000 subscribers overall in the last quarter of 2015, but collectively shed 781,000 subs over the year, according to informitv's Multiscreen Index. While four of the five leading services lost television subscribers over the year, only two reported subscriber losses in the last quarter of 2015.
