AT&T Unveils New Skinny Bundle

On the heels of closing its acquisition of Time Warner, AT&T has unveiled a new video package delivering 30-plus live-streaming channels and 15,000-plus TV shows and movies on demand.

WatchTV will initially be available for no additional cost with the telco’s two new unlimited wireless plans: AT&T Unlimited &More and AT&T Unlimited &More Premium (which includes the option to select a premium channel such as HBO, Showtime or Starz). WatchTV will eventually be offered as a $15-per-month standalone service. At launch, the channel lineup will include the Turner networks and CNN, as well as brands from Discovery, Inc., AMC Networks, A+E Networks and Crown Media. Select Viacom channels will be available after the launch.

“We were the first wireless provider to bring entertainment and unlimited data together, and, once again, we’re redefining what that means,” said David Christopher, president of AT&T mobility and entertainment. “This is no longer about including one channel or service with your wireless plan, but an incredible lineup of content that delivers more of what you care about—over 30 live TV channels and more than 15,000 TV shows and movies on demand, as well as premium movie channels, music streaming with more to come!”
