Apple Orders Musical Cartoon from Bob’s Burgers Creator

Apple has given a straight-to-series order for two seasons of Central Park, an animated musical series penned by Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard alongside Josh Gad (Frozen) and Nora Smith (Bob’s Burgers).

Central Park tells the story of how a family of caretakers wind up saving the titular park and basically the world. The show will feature the voices of Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Titus Burgess, Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci, Daveed Diggs and Kathryn Hahn.

The series is being made by Twentieth Century Fox Television. It is being executive produced by Bouchard, Gad and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, with Smith as consulting producer and Kevin Larsen as producer.
