Another Season of Dear White People for Netflix

Netflix has ordered a third installment of the popular comedy series Dear White People, which is produced for the streaming service by Lionsgate.

Dear White People takes place in a predominantly white Ivy League university in the U.S., where racial tensions are brewing. The satirical show is inspired by the 2014 movie of the same name.

Dear White People comes from creator, executive producer, director, writer and co-showrunner Justin Simien. Yvette Lee Bowser is co-showrunner and exec producer, with Stephanie Allain and Julia Lebedev also serving as EPs. The series stars Logan Browning, Brandon P. Bell, Antoinette Robertson, DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori, Ashley Blaine Featherson and Marque Richardson.
