NEW YORK: Bruce Tuchman has taken on an expanded role as the president of AMC/Sundance Channel Global and MGM Channel Global.

In his expanded position, Tuchman will handle programming, marketing and the strategic development of MGM Channel, which is available in more than 130 territories. He will continue to oversee AMC/Sundance Channel Global and work under Ed Carroll, the COO of AMC Networks, out of the company’s headquarters in New York.

Tuchman joined AMC Networks from MGM Worldwide Networks in 2011. Before that, he worked for MTV Networks, where he was the general manager of Nickelodeon Global Network Ventures and senior VP of Nickelodeon New Media Ventures.

“Bruce has done a great job building Sundance Channel into a global brand and this new role allows us to take advantage of his long history with MGM,” said Carroll.
