ABC’s Mark Bracco Joins dick clark productions

SANTA MONICA: Mark Bracco, a seasoned TV exec, has been named to the newly created post of executive VP of programming and development for dick clark productions (dcp).

Bracco is responsible for supervising the programming and development of the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, among other projects. Based in Santa Monica, he will report to Mike Mahan, the president of dick clark productions.

Prior to this appointment, Bracco was the VP of alternative series and specials for ABC Entertainment, where he worked on such productions as the Oscars, CMA Awards, Shark Tank, Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, Supernanny and The Mole, to name a few. Earlier in his career, he served as a segment producer on the launch team for Access Hollywood, and as an entertainment producer for Good Morning America.

"Mark has a phenomenal breadth of experience working with a variety of alternative and special programming, as well as extensive experience with dick clark properties," noted Mahan. "As dick clark productions expands our television footprint, Mark will play a significant leadership role within the company."
