ABC Gives Full-Season Order to Cristela

BURBANK: The freshman comedy Cristela has been given a full-season order by ABC, bringing the show to 22 episodes.

Cristela stars Cristela Alonzo as a Mexican-American working to balance her family traditions with her budding career as a lawyer, figuring out how to simultaneously exist in the “traditional” and the “modern” world.

The show marks the second comedy pickup for ABC this season, following on Black-ish.
